Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Management
- Lead the development and execution of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee all phases of construction, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Manage multiple teams including project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication across all project phases.
- Present project updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Financial Oversight
- Establish and control budgets, monitor expenditures, and track project financial performance.
- Approve major purchases and manage procurement of materials and services.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
Risk & Compliance Management
- Assess and manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and quality control checks to maintain standards.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and develop project teams.
- Set performance goals and conduct evaluations.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and safety.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience delivering large, complex construction projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and building codes.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial, residential, infrastructure, or industrial construction sectors.
- Familiarity with Lean Construction or Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) methodologies.
Work Conditions:
- Based on-site and/or in project offices, with regular travel to project locations.
- May involve long hours and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
