Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Management

  • Lead the development and execution of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Oversee all phases of construction, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Manage multiple teams including project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication across all project phases.
  • Present project updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Financial Oversight

  • Establish and control budgets, monitor expenditures, and track project financial performance.
  • Approve major purchases and manage procurement of materials and services.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.

Risk & Compliance Management

  • Assess and manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality control checks to maintain standards.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop project teams.
  • Set performance goals and conduct evaluations.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and safety.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience delivering large, complex construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and building codes.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in commercial, residential, infrastructure, or industrial construction sectors.
  • Familiarity with Lean Construction or Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) methodologies.

Work Conditions:

  • Based on-site and/or in project offices, with regular travel to project locations.
  • May involve long hours and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
