Warehouse Assistant

Job Description

• Receive and store incoming shipment according to shipping documents.
• Release incoming shipment for deliveries according to shipping documents
• Prepare outgoing shipment such as sorting, strapping, labeling and marking according to shipping document
• Pick and pack orders, manage inventory, and operate forklift and pallet jack
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
• Report any discrepancies to relevant parties
• Communicate and cooperate with colleagues and external vendors
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in freight forwarding warehouse environment
• Knowledge of import and export shipping procedures and understand shipping documentation
• Possess forklift licence
• Able to perform given tasks efficiently and meet the deadline given by Supervisor/Manager
• Team worker
• 5.5 working days per week
