Job Title: Quality Control Assistant (Automotive)

  • 5 day week Mon to Fri
  • 9am to 6pm.
  • Location : Pandan

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Assistant for our client to ensure the highest standards of repair quality in their automotive service operations. In this independent role, you will work closely with mechanics, technicians, and contractors to verify that all vehicle repairs are completed correctly, using the proper parts and adhering to service forms and quality checklists. Your meticulous inspection and documentation will help maintain our reputation for excellence in automotive service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to confirm all work has been completed according to service orders and quality standards.
  • Verify that correct replacement parts have been used and installed properly.
  • Cross-check repair work against service forms and quality checklists to ensure compliance.
  • Document findings, noting any discrepancies or defects, and report to management.
  • Communicate with mechanics and contractors to address any quality concerns and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality control reports.
  • Assist in developing and improving quality control processes.
  • Ensure all safety and compliance standards are met during repairs.

Qualifications & Skills.
  • Previous experience in automotive repair, quality control, or service advising preferred.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems, parts, and repair processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret service orders, repair manuals, and technical documents.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with technicians and contractors.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred (but not required):
  • Certification in Automotive Technology or Quality Assurance.
- Experience with dealership or collision repair center- quality processes.
