Job Purpose
The B2B Telemarketer is responsible for initiating outbound calls to prospective business clients, generating leads, setting appointments, and supporting the overall sales pipeline. This role plays a key part in identifying opportunities, qualifying leads, and promoting the company’s products and services to a business audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound cold calls to business prospects using pre-qualified contact lists or CRM database.
- Generate and qualify sales leads based on pre-defined criteria such as industry, company size, needs, and potential budget.
- Identify and reach key decision-makers within target organizations.
- Schedule meetings or demos for the sales team with qualified prospects.
- Deliver engaging and professional phone scripts, customized as needed to suit various industries and business needs.
- Handle basic inquiries about the company’s products or services and route technical questions to relevant personnel.
- Update CRM systems with call notes, contact information, and lead status to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly call activity and lead generation metrics.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to align lead generation efforts with business objectives.
- Maintain compliance with telemarketing laws and internal privacy guidelines.
