Job Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, nurturing client relationships, and leading a team of sales professionals to achieve the organization’s revenue targets. This role requires an experienced professional with strong communication, negotiation, and team-building skills to foster a collaborative sales culture while strategically expanding market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet organizational revenue goals.
  • Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to exceed performance targets.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects to drive sales opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product) to improve customer engagement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on sales metrics and forecasts.


Requirements

Qualifications

  • MBA preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing successful sales teams.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Strong understanding of sales metrics, KPIs, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of market research and sales forecasting tools.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills with a client-focused approach.

Good to Have

  • Experience in B2B sales in the BFSI or technology sector.
  • Familiarity with using data analytics to drive sales strategies.
  • Knowledge of regional market dynamics.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years in sales, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Demonstrable experience in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in client relationship management and business development.
