Lead T&I Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead T&I Engineer to lead and manage our engineering teams in the execution of Transportation & Installation (T&I) projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating with stakeholders, maintaining cost and schedule controls, ensuring quality, and driving continuous improvement through lean practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering teams, including engineers and draftsmen to execute T&I projects efficiently.
• Act as the main point of contact for T&I contractors and external parties to ensure smooth coordination and communication.
• Monitor and report on T&I package costs and schedules, providing timely forecasts and updates.
• Implement lean tools and practices within the T&I team to increase efficiency and measurable results.
• Ensure full compliance with the Company’s Quality Management System across all T&I projects.
• Support engineers’ professional development through mentoring, technical guidance and training.
• Supervise project planning and execution to ensure delivery aligns with objectives and client expectations.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success and safety.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical or related field); Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in T&I engineering, with at least 5 years in a lead or managerial role in the offshore industry.
• Strong leadership capabilities with proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid knowledge of T&I engineering principles and quality/project management methodologies.
• Experience working with contractors, clients, and Marine Warranty Surveyors.
• Proficient in engineering software such as MOSES, SACS, STAAD Pro, ABAQUS/ANSYS/FEMAP, ORCAFLEX, GHS, MAXSURF, DEEPLINES, DIODORE, etc.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication and strong presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
