We are seeking a Finance Associate to join our Finance team. This role offers broad exposure across core finance functions, including financial operations, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in accounting principles and a proactive mindset to support continuous improvements in finance processes.


General Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Month-End Closing & Reporting

  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, management accounts, and analysis for internal stakeholders.
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

Audit & Compliance

  • Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules and documentation.
  • Support the preparation and submission of GST filings and other statutory compliance requirements.

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Assist in identifying areas for process improvements and help implement automation and efficiency enhancements.
  • Utilize accounting systems and finance tools to support accurate reporting and control.

Other Duties

Perform other finance-related tasks and projects as assigned by management, including ad hoc reporting and analysis.


    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations.
    • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • High level of integrity, accuracy, and accountability.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
