Production Supervisor

MNC, metal manufacturer for Oil & Gas industry.

Location: Tuas, transport provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations on the production floor, including CNC machining, assembly, and finishing processes.
• Plan and assign workloads, monitor work progress, and ensure timely completion of production schedules.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards (API, ISO, etc.) in all manufacturing processes.
• Train, motivate, and evaluate production team members to meet performance targets and maintain high morale.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA/QC, and maintenance teams to resolve production issues and improve efficiency.
• Monitor and manage production KPIs, including output, downtime, rework, and waste reduction.
• Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation on production output, incidents, and workforce performance.
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of equipment, tools, and machinery.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in metal precision engineering, preferably in oil & gas.
• Strong technical knowledge of CNC machining, milling, turning, and precision tolerances.
• Familiarity with oil & gas standards (e.g., API, ASME) is a strong advantage.
