Job Summary:

As Commercial Director, you will lead the strategic expansion and commercial direction of the company’s subsea services and diving systems portfolio. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong technical foundation and proven ability to drive growth, build global partnerships, and manage high-value client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Market Expansion

  • Define and execute long-term commercial and business development strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities, particularly in subsea infrastructure sectors.
  • Expand the company’s footprint into new regions through strategic alliances, acquisitions, and partnerships.
  • Represent the company at international forums, client meetings, and industry associations to elevate brand presence.

Commercial Oversight

  • Oversee high-value tendering, pricing, and contractual negotiations.
  • Ensure robust commercial governance, pricing discipline, and risk management in line with business goals.
  • Lead deal structuring, profitability analysis, and long-term framework agreements.

Client & Partner Management

  • Cultivate executive-level relationships with key clients.
  • Resolve complex commercial and operational issues with strategic foresight.

Internal Leadership

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, and Operations to ensure commercial deliverables are aligned with technical capabilities and timelines.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing commercial team across business units and regions.
  • Provide market insights to guide innovation, product strategy, and investment decision

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering mechanical/ civil or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 15 year’s business development experience in offshore subsea construction/ Underwater contracting/ offshore installation of pipelines and structures and subsea/SURF operations preferred.
