About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing the supply chain of our semiconductor equipment subsidiaries, including setting up a production facility in Asia. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across relevant subsidiaries to develop and implement a comprehensive plan encompassing supplier identification & partnerships, site selection, infrastructure setup, logistics optimization, and related functions. While this position begins as an individual contributor, it is envisaged to transition into a supervisory role as the scope of responsibilities expands.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive manufacturing & supply chain strategy aligned with the Group's overall business goals and objectives, enhancing the manufacturing footprint and operational performance, minimizing costs, and maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, logistics providers, and internal departments, to drive collaboration, innovation, and value creation across the supply chain network.
- Streamline logistics operations, including production facilities, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and manufacturing, to align supply chain activities with demand forecasts, sales projections, and production plans, ensuring synchronization and alignment across the company.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements affecting the supply chain landscape. Proactively identify risks and opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Lead efforts to make operations more sustainable and environmentally friendly, such as reducing waste, improving energy efficiency, and sourcing sustainable materials.
- Establish and utilize data analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement.
