Job Summary:
As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) , you will lead the company’s overall technology strategy, infrastructure management, and digital transformation. You will oversee the design, development, security, and implementation of IT systems and infrastructure that support the organization’s strategic and operational goals. In addition to managing the IT department, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, driving innovation and ensuring robust technology governance and business continuity.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic Technology Leadership
- Define and execute the company’s long-term IT strategy and digital roadmap to align with business objectives and growth plans.
- Drive the digital transformation agenda by integrating emerging technologies (cloud, AI, automation, cybersecurity) into business operations.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement scalable and future-ready IT solutions to support operational excellence and innovation.
IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Oversee the full spectrum of IT infrastructure operations, including networks, data centers, cloud environments, business applications, endpoint devices, and internal systems.
- Ensure the high availability, reliability, and scalability of IT systems across all business units.
- Champion robust business continuity planning (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) frameworks, including regular data backups and system recovery simulations.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Establish and maintain a secure IT environment by implementing modern cybersecurity controls and incident response procedures.
- Continuously monitor evolving threats and regulatory requirements (e.g., PDPA, ISO27001), ensuring compliance and resilience.
- Lead the IT risk management framework and conduct regular audits and penetration testing.
Technology Governance & Policy
- Review, develop, and enforce IT governance, standards, policies, and best practices to ensure effective management and compliance across the organization.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor infrastructure performance, user support efficiency, and system security posture.
Project & Innovation Management
- Lead cross-functional teams on strategic IT projects, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and stakeholder alignment.
- Introduce emerging technologies that offer competitive advantages and operational improvements, such as AI tools, ERP enhancements, or mobility solutions.
Vendor & Budget Oversight
- Manage strategic vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service-level agreements to optimize cost and service delivery.
- Prepare and manage the annual IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising system performance or innovation.
People Leadership & Talent Development
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Promote professional development opportunities and succession planning within the IT department.
Executive Reporting & Personal Assistant Support
- Report regularly to the Board and C-level executives on IT performance, risk posture, and strategic initiatives.
- Act as a close aide and PA to the CEO or Managing Director when required—supporting in preparing technical presentations, coordinating executive schedules, or handling confidential communications related to IT or digital strategies.
