- Safe Operation: Safely operate prime mover trucks to transport containers, road tankers, and ISO tankers over various routes, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and company policies.
- Cargo Handling: Load and unload containers, road tankers, and ISO tankers securely, ensuring proper securing of cargo and adherence to loading protocols to prevent damage or accidents during transit.
- Route Planning: Plan and execute efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules, considering factors such as traffic conditions, weather, and delivery deadlines.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on prime mover trucks and associated equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and promptly reporting any mechanical issues or defects for repair.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, trip logs, and other relevant documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and other stakeholders to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any special requirements or instructions.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and professional delivery of goods, addressing customer inquiries or concerns, and representing the company positively in all interactions.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or incidents on the road, including accidents, breakdowns, or adverse weather conditions, taking necessary actions to ensure the safety of cargo, vehicle, and personnel.
