BIM Specialist / Clementi / LTA / Government Project

Job Description:

• Spearhead digitalisation initiatives within project teams to successfully deliver Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) projects. Act as a key advocate for the advancement of Building Information Modelling (BIM), Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), and overall digital transformation.
• Proficient in handling and coordinating Civil & Structural (C&S), Architectural, and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) 3D models.
• Provide expert input to enhance QA/QC processes in alignment with organizational VDC/IDD standards and best practices.
• Maintain and update organizational BIM templates and standardization documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Oversee the creation and management of 2D/3D content libraries (families) to support modelling efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead and mentor a team of Modellers and Senior Modellers, ensuring timely and high-quality BIM model deliverables for design, documentation, and fabrication purposes.
• Coordinate and monitor the schedule for shop drawing submissions, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
• Prepare BIM documentation and generate shop drawings directly from BIM models to support construction execution.
• Facilitate design coordination efforts among technical teams, clients, and subcontractors through effective use of VDC tools.
Conduct QA/QC checks to verify the accuracy of model parameters and attributes, particularly for 5D Cost Management integration

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent, with a specialization or relevant coursework in Building Information Modelling (BIM).
• Proven track record with over 4 years of hands-on experience in BIM modelling and management, ideally with exposure in A1 Main Contractor or Consultant environments.
• Proficient in key industry software including Autodesk Revit , Navisworks , and Microsoft Office Suite .
• Working knowledge of Dynamo for visual programming and Civil 3D for civil infrastructure modelling is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in 4D (time-based scheduling) and 5D (cost management) BIM implementation to support project planning and cost control.
• Experience in infrastructure projects is considered an added advantage.
