Site & Lifting Engineer

Site Engineer Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction activities and progress, plan, implement and monitor work
• Schedule in accordance to the master and detailed work programme
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works
• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors
• Handling of technical and engineering problems
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule,
• Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time
• Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary
• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely

Lifting Engineer Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise and liaise closely with construction team on all lifting activities.
• Overall in-charge for preparing lifting and erection plan for all Crawler & Mobile Cranes.
• Prepare, develop and review Lifting plans, Method Statement, Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedure for all lifting activities.
• Daily walk about around assign areas of site and make a note of compliance and non-compliance to HSE operating procedure.
• Able to prepare and review lifting plan and coordinate site lifting supervisors, riggers and signalman and being the focal point for all site lifting operations
• Perform discipline checks for procedures and analysis.
• Read project specifications and provide engineering perspective feedback
• Conduct routine checks and inspections at work site to ensure compliance with authorities and client’s requirements.
• Liaise with client side and executive teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experienced in Singapore underground project, D/wall and other structural works
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience in LTA underground or MRT project
• Experience in managing D/wall and Borepiling
• Must have a Lifting Engineer certificate (for applicants to the Site cum Lifting Engineer position)
• Open to working 5.5D week.
