(Entry Level) Gallery Assistant

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Gallery, including the opening and closing of the Gallery.
• Perform administrative tasks, including record-keeping and website maintenance.
• Greet and engage visitors, providing clients with information on exhibits and artists. Conduct follow-up and post-sales service for interested clients.
• Support marketing efforts, including social media management and event coordination.
• Assist in setting up exhibitions, including artwork handling and display.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the Gallery
• Any other ad-hoc duties according to the needs of the Gallery.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1-2 years of experience in marketing, customer relations, or arts administration will be an advantage
• Fresh graduates and people looking for a mid-career switch are also welcome to apply
• Diploma or degree in any Business, Marketing or arts related courses
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Premiere will be an advantage
• Excellent written language skills as well as verbal communication skills: Candidates must be fluent in Mandarin. They will liaise with our artists and clients, most of whom are Chinese, and communicate only in that language.
• Meticulous and able to work under tight deadlines
• Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate, Freelance, Entry-level

Pay: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month + CPF
