- Defining the project scope, objectives, deliverables, timeline, and budget, ensuring alignment with MAS regulatory requirements for cybersecurity.
- Creating a detailed project plan with milestones and dependencies Responsible to manage multiyear migration projects across business lines.
- Collaborating with stakeholders (IT, Security, Compliance, Business Units) to understand and document all requirements for the SentinelOne EDR deployment, ensuring full compliance with MAS regulations and internal security policies.
- Working closely with technical teams to design and architect the SentinelOne EDR SaaS solution, including integration with existing security infrastructure and ensuring it meets MAS's technical and security standards.
- Allocating and managing resources (personnel, budget, tools) effectively throughout the project lifecycle. This would include managing contractors or external consultants.
- Collaborate with the vendor to define a detailed, mutually agreed-upon budget that outlines all anticipated costs (labor, materials etc.). This should include a breakdown of costs by task or deliverable.
- Create and issue purchase orders (POs) to the vendor, ensuring they align with the approved budget and contractual agreements. Track PO status, including approvals, acceptance, and any changes or amendments.
- Allocate the estimated man-days across the project timeline, considering task dependencies and resource availability.
- Overseeing the testing phase, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate the solution's functionality and security before deployment. Ensuring all testing adheres to guidelines.
- Regularly reporting project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, keeping them informed and managing their expectations. This reporting would be tailored to address requirements and provide evidence of compliance.
- Providing ongoing support and monitoring after go-live to address any issues and ensure the solution continues to meet operational needs. This includes establishing a process for ongoing compliance monitoring.
- Successfully led and managed the complete lifecycle of numerous complex projects, including OS upgrades, SMTP migrations, and security remediation initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. Consistently delivered projects on time and within budget, minimizing operational disruption.
- Proactively identified, assessed, and mitigated both operational and technical risks, effectively communicating potential impacts to stakeholders and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies. Managed and resolved incidents promptly, implementing both immediate and long-term solutions.
- Effectively managed expectations and communicated project status across diverse Asian markets through comprehensive reporting (dashboards, analyses, status reports). Collaborated closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and minimal downtime during migrations and upgrades.
- Provided leadership and guidance to cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative environment that consistently achieved project goals and exceeded expectations.
- Defining the scope of the migration, including the number of VMs, source and target environments, timelines, and acceptance criteria. Specify what's included (OS, applications, data) and what's excluded.
- Established a clear communication plan for regular updates to stakeholders (IT teams, business units, management). Define communication channels and frequency.
- Developed a robust testing strategy, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the successful migration of VMs and applications.
- Post-implementation review to assess the overall success of the migration and identify any areas for improvement in future projects.
