Investment Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities:

As an Investment Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our investment team. Your key responsibilities will include:

Portfolio Management Support:

• Perform daily monitoring and administration of investment portfolios to ensure alignment with our established investment strategies and processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date portfolio data.
• Assist the portfolio manager with portfolio management functions and decision-making.
• Liaise with brokers and custodians to manage trades.
• Provide fund performance updates to all stakeholders.

Client Communication:

• Contribute to the preparation of client newsletters and other investment-related write-ups.
• Provide clear and concise market commentary and performance updates.

Research:

• Engage in research for new investment strategies and applications.
• Employ quantitative methods, including statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who possess strong analytical aptitude and a genuine interest in financial markets. The ideal candidate will have:

Education

• A diploma or degree in Accountancy, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Attitude & Interpersonal Skills

• A proactive and positive mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Technical Proficiency

• Accounting knowledge.
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as R, Python, VBA, or SQL.
• High proficiency in Excel.

Advantageous Knowledge

• Familiarity with financial data platforms such as Bloomberg and Capital IQ.
• Strong knowledge of IBKR APIs and Python programming.
• Understanding of quantitative investment styles and methodologies.
