LNG Technician

Job Description

• Provide direct hands on support to the LNG refilling process from LNG ISO Tanks to various cryogenic cylinders which includes manual loading and unloading of cylinders from the refilling skid.
• Handle hazardous and cryogenic materials
• Operate and maintain diesel and gas power generation equipment
• To operate the Production units in accordance with local and company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and as instructed by the supervisor and plant manager.
• Ensure machine are maintained in good and safe working condition.
• Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting services.
• To report and identify any faults or damages to Supervisor.
• Perform operational checklists when performing shutdown and start-up plant activities ensuring the various safety aspects required are adhered.
• To be familiar with emergency procedures for the safe operation and shutdown of units.
• In case of emergency, performs the activities of a firefighting member as per the emergency shutdown procedure.
• Performs assigned tasks to support the day-to-day plant operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of in a construction/marine industry. Those without experience but with a willing to learn attitude may also apply.
• Experienced in Welding
• Good interpersonal and communication skill
• Good team player with ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
• Willing to learn with a positive working attitude.
• Physically fit
• Able to commit shift work when needed
• Required to be in PPE during working hours
• Work Location: Jurong Island
