• Examine infants and young children thoroughly on a frequent basis to ensure their health and normal physical development are being observed.
• Examine ailing youngsters to ascertain their state and inquire intuitively to learn about symptoms.
• Make an educated diagnosis based on your medical history and scientific understanding.
• Write prescriptions and provide thorough administration instructions.
• Order and interpret the proper laboratory tests to learn more about any anomalies or infections that may exist.
• As directed by the official immunization schedule, prepare and give vaccinations.
• Examine, treat, and, if needed, send young patients to doctors in other specialties (surgeons, ophthalmologists, orthopedists, etc.).
• Give parents advice on the food, exercise, and illness prevention strategies for their kids.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all patient ailments, operations, and other medical events (such as allergic reactions and accidents).
