Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Main Duties & Responsiblities

Programme Planning and Design

  • Design and plan programmes, and prepare activity content to add value to children’s learning
  • Undertake appropriate risk assessments and planning for health and safety measures
  • Ensure all activities are aligned with the Standard Operating Procedures

Programme Implementation

  • Deliver safe and effective activities in accordance with programme aims and objectives
  • Uphold excellent customer service
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of all participants (including teachers) throughout the programme

School Liaisons

  • Be the primary contact person in-charge of outreach to schools and to manage school programme scheduling and all necessary liaisons
  • Develop effective communications and programme resources for schools
  • Communicate with parents, schools, and staff to ensure effective and safe programmes Conduct feedback and evaluation after programmes.

Adjunct Instructor Management

  • Recruit and schedule adjunct instructors to meet the operational requirements of programmes.
  • Train and mentor adjunct instructors and ensure they are able to implement programmes effectively and safely.
  • Manage instructor absenteeism to ensure continuity of programmes.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant experience in Early Childhood, animals, Sports or Outdoor Education would be advantageous
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity; conducting outdoor-related/ animal related programmes (for children preferred) / facilitation/education workshops
  • Exhibit classroom management skills and ability to motivate and engage children Passionate about outdoor adventure learning and animals
  • Positive learning attitude and a growth mindset
  • Comfortable with facilitating outdoor activities for children aged 4-12
  • Ability to commit to the entire duration of each programme
