Our client is hiring: Team Lead – Transaction Operations
Are you a detail-driven operations professional with a passion for trade life cycle management and regulatory reporting? If so, our client invites you to apply for the position of Team Lead – Transaction Operations .
This is a leadership role within the Transaction Operations Team, responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the end-to-end trade life cycle , corporate actions, reconciliations, and client/regulatory reporting. You'll work in close partnership with the outsourced service provider to deliver seamless post-trade support across multiple asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income, FX, CIS, and Money Markets .
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead oversight and serve as the first point of escalation for all trade operations and regulatory reporting issues.
- Manage and resolve stakeholder escalations independently—including those from internal teams, custodians, brokers, and service providers.
- Oversee trade life cycle activities across all asset classes, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Provide regulatory reporting oversight and ensure all validations meet internal and external requirements.
- Support new market transitions, product rollouts, and process integration initiatives.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for transaction operations in strategic projects and new product developments.
- Proactively manage and mitigate incidents and operational risks.
- Stay up to date with market developments, proactively recommending and implementing process improvements.
- Drive automation, innovation, and adoption of new technologies to streamline workflows and reduce manual dependencies.
- Work with the Head of Transaction Operations to enhance the risk and control environment for long-term efficiency and compliance.
Who You Are:
- An experienced operations professional with a background in trade processing, reconciliations, or regulatory reporting.
- A natural leader who thrives on problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and driving operational excellence.
- Well-versed in the trade life cycle across multiple asset classes and experienced in managing outsourced operational teams.
- Comfortable handling incident management and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic regulatory environment.
- Tech-savvy and eager to explore automation tools and system enhancements.
- Strong communicator, collaborator, and mentor.
