SITE SUPERVISOR

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor with a strong background in construction rebar work to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of rebar installation on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with design specifications and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily activities of rebar workers and subcontractors on-site.
• Interpret structural drawings and ensure accurate implementation of rebar layouts and schedules.
• Coordinate with engineers, foremen, and project managers to meet construction deadlines.
• Monitor quality of rebar work to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Inspect and verify placement, spacing, tying, and support of reinforcing steel prior to concrete pour.
• Maintain a safe and organized job site, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Manage labor resources, materials, and equipment on-site.
• Prepare and submit daily work reports, material requests, and site logs.
• Address and resolve issues or conflicts that arise on-site in a timely manner.
• Train and mentor crew members to maintain high work standards.
• Able to lead a team of experienced rebar workers to achive daily / monthly targets.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) supervising rebar work in a construction setting.
• Strong understanding of structural drawings, rebar detailing, and reinforcement specifications.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, report generation tools).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, First Aid) are an advantage.
