About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about design and eager to delve into the world of large-format printing, event graphics and customised wallcoverings. You'll play a pivotal role in crafting visually compelling designs for various applications, including but not limited to wallpapers, banners, signage, and event materials.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Manage small-scale design projects with team support.
Design Execution: Create and adapt designs for large-format prints such as wallpapers, banners, posters, and event backdrops.
Collaboration: Work closely with production staff to ensure designs are print-ready and meet quality standards.
Production Oversight: Assist in overseeing the printing process, ensuring color accuracy and material suitability.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest design trends, printing technologies, and software updates to bring fresh ideas to the team.
Requirements
Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, Indesign etc.
Design Sensibility: A keen eye for aesthetics, typography, and color theory.
Attention to Detail: Ability to produce accurate and high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Passion for Printing: Genuine interest in large-format printing processes and the various materials used in event production.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably with exposure to large-format printing or event graphics.
Fresh Graduate or self-taught with relevant software skills can apply.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including large-format and event-related work.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of print production processes, including file preparation, color management, and material selection.
