Junior Civil Engineering Drafter

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Support the production of CSD (Combined Services Drawing) and SEM (Structural, Electrical, Mechanical) drawings under guidance.
• Coordinate with senior drafters and engineers to ensure timely delivery of accurate drawings.
• Assist in updating and maintaining M&E drawings throughout the project.
• Work with BIM consultants to help develop basic BIM models and construction documents.
• Support clash detection reviews and model coordination.
• Help prepare as-built drawings for submission.
• Assist in preparing formwork and fabrication shop drawings.
• Attend internal meetings and learn to collaborate across departments.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD ; basic knowledge of Revit and BIM software is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn about BIM workflows and coordination practices.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow guidance from senior staff.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Willingness to work extra hours during peak project periods , including weekends if necessary.
