Curriculum Developer (Contract)
- Design the learners’ experience and journey, analyze the appropriate learning delivery modes, and identify opportunities to integrate learning technology and systems.
- Design and develop curriculums and courseware that are relevant, effective and maintain high standard of operational, technical and service excellence competencies.
- Work closely with SMEs and Learning Solutionists to design, develop and validate curriculums and courseware contents.
- Develop and enhance the team’s capability in the areas of emerging learning technological trends, workplace learning, advanced andragogy, skills-based curricula and integrative assessment.
- Conduct Learning/Training Needs Analysis and develop comprehensive training solutions aligned with stakeholders and organizational goals.
- Design and develop digital learning resources for blended, self-directed and bite-sized learning.
- Evaluate course feedbacks to identify areas of improvement and enhance training effectiveness.
- Liaise with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and relevant internal/external parties on courseware submission and accreditation.
- Participate in internal & external audits as required by internal and/or external authorities and undertake required follow-up actions.
- Coach, mentor and qualify line competency assessors.
- Manage external associate courseware developers with the different stakeholders (e.g. trainers, subject matter experts) to ensure requirements are being met and projects are kept on schedule.
- Take on ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned.
- Degree in any discipline with minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in learning and development role.
- DACE-certified or equivalent qualification, with good knowledge of SkillsFuture initiatives and Skills Frameworks.
- Experience in instructional design process with working knowledge of adult learning concepts and techniques.
- Familiarity with various training models such as online, blended, workplace learning and community of practice models.
- Good knowledge in Skills framework, with preferred experience in WSQ/Skills Framework courseware development and accreditation.
- Familiarity with issues pertaining to copyright regulations in curriculum.
- Knowledgeable in Kaizen, Project Management and Design Thinking.
- Ability to build strategic working relationships with groups and individuals with diverse or competing interests or diverse perspectives.
- Organized, meticulous and able to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
- Strong team player and resourceful individual with a keen desire to innovate.
- Good communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and leadership skills.
