Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs in food preparation (washing, chopping, marinating, plating, etc.)
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Prepare seasonal and promotional dishes according to recipes
  • Ensure the use of stocks and ingredients follow FIFO (First In First Out) practice
  • Assist other kitchen stations as needed to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Learn and follow kitchen procedures and recipe standards
  • Cleaning dishes and equipment
  • Receive stock deliveries and ensure they are of correct quantity and quality
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company

Requirements:

  • Passion for food, cooking, and learning in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Able to work on weekend/public holiday
  • Have initiative and hardworking with positive attitude to learn and contribute
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
