What You'll Do

As Country Sales Manager based in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in driving business expansion across multiple sectors by developing robust sales strategies for GRP, HDPE, OPVC, and DI pipes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve identifying new business prospects within infrastructure development projects as well as water supply initiatives. You will nurture long-term partnerships with influential stakeholders such as construction firms and government bodies by presenting compelling product solutions tailored to their unique requirements. By negotiating favourable contract terms while upholding company standards of compliance and profitability, you will help secure significant deals that contribute directly to organisational success. Your ability to conduct insightful market research will keep you ahead of industry trends while your close collaboration with internal teams ensures smooth project execution from initial engagement through post-sales support. Attending industry events will further enhance your network as you champion customer engagement initiatives designed to foster loyalty among both new and existing clients.

  • Develop comprehensive sales strategies tailored to GRP, HDPE, OPVC, and DI pipes that align with organisational goals and market demands.
  • Identify new business opportunities by expanding the customer base within infrastructure, water supply, and industrial sectors throughout Singapore.
  • Build and maintain enduring relationships with key decision-makers at construction companies, water utilities, government agencies, and industrial clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies and profitability targets.
  • Manage key accounts by delivering exceptional customer service, overseeing timely product delivery, and addressing any post-sales issues or concerns promptly.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities relevant to the pipe sector.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and marketing teams to provide accurate product information and customised solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review while tracking all sales activities including meetings, negotiations, and closed deals.
  • Work collaboratively with production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the company’s product portfolio while implementing effective customer retention strategies.

What You Bring

To excel as Country Sales Manager in this you will need to possess strong connections in the building and construction industry ideally in the pumps, valves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field is required; a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) would be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience selling GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic), HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), OPVC (Oriented Polyvinyl Chloride), or DI (Ductile Iron) pipes within infrastructure or industrial sectors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of technical specifications as well as practical applications of various pipe products, control valves, used in large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with strong negotiation abilities enable you to build rapport with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets through effective account management techniques.
  • Proficiency in CRM software along with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) supports efficient reporting & analysis tasks.
  • Analytical mindset allows you to interpret complex market data & identify actionable insights for strategic planning purposes.
  • Collaborative approach enables you to work effectively alongside technical experts & cross-functional teams when delivering tailored solutions.
