Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Sales Executive to join our offline retail team specializing in liquor sales, specifically for our Chinese Baijiu. The ideal candidate must be fluent in spoken and written Chinese to effectively communicate with our predominantly Chinese-speaking clientele. You will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of liquors, including premium and specialty items, while ensuring excellent customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Customer Service
    Explain product features, taste profiles, and origin of our Zhengong branded baijiu.
    Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
  • Product Knowledge
    Develop in-depth understanding of our Zhengong baijiu brand, alcohol content, and usage occasions.
    Stay updated on new arrivals, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
  • Inventory Support
    Assist with stock counts, deliveries, and ensuring stock accuracy.
    Report fast- or slow-moving items and customer preferences to management.
  • Language & Cultural Fit
    Communicate fluently in Chinese (spoken and written) to effectively assist Chinese-speaking customers.
    Understand cultural preferences and etiquette, particularly for gifting and celebratory liquor purchases.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) – spoken and written (Mandatory)
  • Minimum 1 year of sales or retail experience, preferably in liquor, FMCG, or luxury goods.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sales-driven with a customer-first mindset.
  • Willing to work retail hours, including weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in liquor or beverage sales.
  • Knowledge of Chinese liquor (e.g., Baijiu, Huangjiu) and customer buying habits.
  • Basic proficiency in English for internal communication and documentation.
