Transportation and Distribution Supervisor (5.25 days) - $4800+AWS+VB

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute transportation strategies to guarantee timely, efficient, and cost-effective deliveries.
• Manage and maintain relationships with transportation providers, including contract negotiation and performance oversight.
• Supervise and participate in loading and unloading operations, ensuring safe and prompt handling of goods.
• Coordinate the timely delivery of supplies and equipment, including managing urgent and ad-hoc delivery requests when necessary.
• Monitor transportation expenses and apply cost-saving initiatives without sacrificing service quality.
• Prepare regular performance reports for senior management, detailing transportation, and distribution outcomes.
• Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service standards.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Diploma holder and above
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in transportation, distribution, or logistics management
• Proven experience in contract negotiations and managing vendor relationships
• Practical, hands-on expertise in inventory management and warehouse operations
