Social Media Executive

Location: Hybrid/Remote - Some on location Video and Photography
Working Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
Reports To: Company Director

About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and skilled Social Media Executive to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes content creation and is highly proficient in videography and photography tailored for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

You’ll play a key role in planning, capturing, editing, and publishing content that elevates our brand, tells compelling stories, and engages our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute engaging photo and video content for social media channels
• Film, edit, and deliver short-form videos (e.g., Reels, Stories, TikToks)
• Capture high-quality photography for campaigns, events, and social content
• Develop and maintain a content calendar in alignment with marketing campaigns
• Write engaging captions and schedule posts across platforms
• Monitor social media trends and adapt content accordingly
• Assist in reporting performance metrics and audience insights
• Collaborate with the broader marketing team to support brand storytelling

Requirements:

• Proven experience in videography and photography (portfolio required)
• Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Canva , or similar
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
• A creative eye and attention to visual detail
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently
• Previous experience in social media content creation, marketing, or a related field

Preferred:

• Experience with basic graphic design and animation (e.g., Canva, After Effects)
• Familiarity with content scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Hootsuite)
• Interest in lifestyle, education, or community-based content
