The Brand Manager – AMEA Snacks is responsible for initiating, leading and executing all elements of the Marketing Mix for a brand or group of brands within the AMEA Salty Snacks category, and through doing so positively impact the top and bottom line of the business.

Accountabilities:

  • Identify and leverage powerful consumer insights and turn them into winning Product & Commercial Innovation pipeline to grow brand & category in short & long-term.
  • Develop annual marketing plan and manage project timelines, coordinate activities across various local, area and corporate resources, to ensure project delivery on time in full.
  • Develop holistic brand communication (big idea development, copy production, media guideline, package, etc) by closely working with Tier 1 agencies
  • Lead the development & execution of all commercial elements for the Product & Commercial innovation (completed end to end management: ideation through to commercialisation).
  • Manage the day-to-day business processes for the brand(s) & markets to ensure effective and efficient business management.
  • Co-work with internal Trade Marketing, Market teams & external agency partners for strong in-market execution to maximize the impact of project.
  • Control of A&P budget and monitor spending vs. plan.
  • Actively navigate through the complex regional model matrix by working closely with multiple markets to execute plans with excellence and follow through in results through ongoing performance reviews (dashboard, monthly reports, PIR)

Skills and Experience:

Technical Skills

  • Creative development (TV, Digital, OOH).
  • End to end communication campaign dvpt (brief, design, production, post, media).
  • Tier 1 Creative agency management.
  • Media strategy & planning solid understanding.
  • Project Management.
  • A&P Management – on time and on budget.
  • Financial Acumen.

Critical Experiences

  • Has prior working experience in an FMCG setting.
  • Min 6-8 years in brand building
  • Min 2-yr tier 1 creative agency management
  • Min 4-year experience in local BU/market
  • Marketing experience across ATL, BTL – min US$2.5M budget
  • Regional responsibilities managing multiple markets a plus!
