Heavy Forklift Operator (5 Ton and above)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experience Heavy Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts with a capacity of 5 tons and above, handling cargo in and out of vessels, trucks and containers. This position will primarily be based at 2-3 local sites but may require occasional travel to other sites. The operator will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of heavy goods across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts (5 tons and above) to load and unload cargo from containers, trucks and vessels.

Safely transport materials between different areas on-site, ensuring they are stacked and stored properly.

Assist in moving cargo in and out of vessels.

Ensure the forklift is well-maintained and perform routine pre-shift checks for safety and funtionality.

Follow all safety protocols while operating the forklift and handling materials, maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency at all times.

Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate handling of goods

Perform other tasks as required by the supervisor.
