1. PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive mosque brand awareness, customer acquisition, and funding growth.
- Create and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional advertising.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with internal departments to develop compelling marketing collaterals
- Manage and optimise the mosque's online presence, including all social media platforms and accounts, and online advertising.
- Monitor budget and analyse marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders and seek marketing opportunities via events, roadshows, conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads (e.g., Setting-up booths in external events)
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with local media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to secure media coverage and partnerships.
- Oversee and gatekeep the creation and distribution of mosque press releases, posters, newsletters, and other communication materials produced by other departments.
- Ensure consistent messaging and brand identity across all marketing and communication channels.
- Manage the mutli-media production and operations which includes set-up, recording, editing, rendering, and streaming of live programmes (e.g., Podcast, social media livestreams)
2. SECONDARY DUTIES:
- Promote and support innovative and creative ways to generate income including fundraising initiatives and external funding via grants and sponsorship to ensure the ongoing sustainability of the unit and projects
- Provide support in District-based activities and initiatives
- Provide support in mosque event’s operations and manpower requirements
- Provide support in department’s collective initiatives, implementations and recommend plans for improvement
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing & Communications or a related field, or with 5-years of relevant working experience
- Possess excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, interpersonal skills and can work independently
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
