Paralegal (Banking & Finance)

We are seeking a highly motivated Paralegal to join our client's Banking & Finance team in Singapore. The successful candidate will support lawyers on transactional matters and play an integral role in the documentation, coordination, and execution of finance-related legal work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and review finance documents, corporate authorities, legal opinions, and ancillary documentation.
• Coordinate registration and deregistration of charges.
• Liaise with clients and foreign counsel on transactional matters.
• Conduct legal due diligence and compile findings for internal review.
• Proofread and check legal documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Assist with the preparation and review of conditions precedent (CPs).
• Compile and organize transaction bibles and deal documentation.
• Support knowledge management by consolidating templates and know-how materials.
• Conduct legal research and provide concise summaries to legal teams.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working as a paralegal in a legal or professional services firm, ideally in banking or finance practice.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong drafting, proofreading, and document management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and legal research tools.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and strong sense of initiative.
• Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently when required.
