Snr Kitchen Crew/ Kitchen Crew

Our client, a Japanese dining spot focusing on Chirashi and Donburi based at Central is looking for Senior Kitchen Crew to join the team.

Working days - 6 days per week

Working hours - 10.30am - 10pm (1.5 hrs break)/ Total of 10 working hours per day.

Job Responsibilities:

• Taking orders
• Preparing ingredients
• Discarding expired items
• Maintaining kitchen areas clean and sanitized
• Placing food items on plates
• Maintaining cooking equipment
• Setting heat levels of ovens and cooking ranges
• Cleaning all dishes, work stations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations
• Washing, chopping, shredding, and grating ingredients for subsequent use by the chef
• Sweeping and mopping floors, as required
• Assisting with the unloading of deliveries
• Retrieving ingredients from the refrigerator, freezer, and stockroom
• Measuring ingredients as per the cook's instructions
• Removing leftovers from patrons’ plates, bowls, and glasses
Ensuring that all work areas are properly sanitized

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/ Bachelor Degree of any discipline
• Prior experience in a similar position.
• Thorough knowledge of food safety procedures.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
