HQ Tender Quantity Surveyor

Our client is seeking experienced and driven Senior Quantity Surveyors / Quantity Surveyors to join their Tender Department , supporting a diverse portfolio of projects across plant engineering, marine/coastal engineering, land civil works, and sustainable engineering .

This is a strategic role offering involvement in both technical and commercial tendering for public and private sector projects , locally and internationally. Successful candidates will gain exposure to a broad scope of work including:

• Site assessments and feasibility reviews
• Quantity take-offs using digital software tools
• Procurement and pricing strategies
• Value engineering discussions and workshops
• Tender interviews and presentations

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the full tendering process from initial cost planning to submission
• Prepare detailed BOQs and cost estimates based on engineering drawings and specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical proposals
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering initiatives
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and technical inputs
• Attend site visits and tender clarification meetings as required

Candidate Requirements

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of managing tight deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience , ideally with exposure to marine construction projects
