Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced M&E Coordination Specialist to oversee the integration and coordination of mechanical and electrical systems across multidisciplinary construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in system interfacing, including interface design, documentation, testing, and commissioning. This role is critical in ensuring seamless collaboration between various engineering disciplines and successful delivery of M&E systems that meet project specifications and regulatory standards.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:


1. M&E System Coordination

  • Coordinate mechanical and electrical systems with architectural, structural, and civil works.
  • Ensure proper spatial planning and clash-free integration using BIM or CAD tools.
  • Review and validate M&E shop drawings and interface layouts.

2. Interface Management

  • Lead interface design and coordination between different systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, fire protection, plumbing).
  • Develop and maintain interface control documents (ICDs).
  • Facilitate technical meetings to resolve interface issues among stakeholders.

3. Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including method statements, specifications, and test plans.
  • Ensure all M&E works comply with local codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of coordination activities and approvals.

4. Testing & Commissioning

  • Plan and oversee testing and commissioning activities for M&E systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure systems are tested and handed over successfully.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during commissioning phases.

5. Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as the main point of contact for M&E coordination with consultants, contractors, and clients.
  • Provide regular updates on coordination progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Support project managers in achieving milestones related to M&E deliverables.
