Senior Welder

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project engineers, clients, and site supervisors to monitor project progress and meet scheduled milestones.

• Supervise and inspect work at project sites to ensure compliance with quality and quantity standards.

• Perform TIG, arc, and pipe welding tasks in both workshop and site environments.

• Carry out grinding tasks on iron, stainless steel, and aluminum materials.

• Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify and rectify defects or errors.

• Request and organize additional resources as needed to maintain project continuity and success.

• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Project Manager or employer.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in TIG welding is essential; knowledge of arc welding is an added advantage.

• Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

Quality Assurance

• Strong ability to evaluate and ensure the quality of welded surfaces and structures.

Flexibility

• Willingness to accept ad-hoc tasks as required.
