Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator (WSHC)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing safety-related issues at the site.

2. Ensure all site works adhere to safety rules and safe work practices as well as safety legislation.

3. Liaise with different departments on all safety and health matters.

4. Identify any situation that is potentially unsafe and/or hazardous in nature, feedback to Manager and team, investigate and recommend any corrective actions.

5. Responsible for keeping records of safety-related matters and recommendation/administration of corrective measures at the site.

6. Able to handle the safety documentation such as Method of Statement, Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedure, etc.

7. Assist the Manager to performs evaluations of safety policies, methods, and programs.

8. Organizes safety training for site employees.

9. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. Certified with WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or equivalent.

2. At least 3 years post-registration and practical experience relevant to the scope of works of the Sub-contract.

3. Proficient in MS Office & Outlook.

4. Posses Fire & Safety Manager certificate would be an added advantage
