Account Officer

1. Broad Functions:
The primary job responsibility of the Accounts officer is to execute the financial operations, which includes handling day-to-day accounting tasks such as recording financial transactions, preparing, and maintaining financial statements, and reconciling financial records.
2. Job Description / Responsibilities:
2.1. Execute the daily accounting & costing operation
2.1.1. Follow SOPs in established AR & AP processes and perform the required data entry.
2.1.2. Check through all POs, verify goods received, process invoices and make the necessary payments.
2.1.3. Verify and match shipment records with the system to issue tax invoices to customers and book the payment received.
2.1.4. Perform any manual and ad hoc adjustment instructed by the accountant on GL and Fixed asset capitalization.
2.1.5. Clarify and reconcile discrepancies with vendors, internal stakeholders, and banking institutions to detect out of the norm and seek approval to make adjustments.

3. Requirements:
3.1. Min A Level equivalent
3.2. Min 1 year of respective experience
3.3. Knowledge of basic principles of AP/ AR and GL
3.4. Basic knowledge of MS Excel
3.5. Proficiency in typing and data entry is essential.
3.6. Working knowledge of SAP system knowledge (good to have)
3.7. Good written and spoken communication skills.
3.8. Good stakeholder management skills to gain win-win result
3.9. Meticulous and detailed person
3.10. Ability to withstand high-pressure environments to meet deadlines.
3.11. Mentally strong to handle complexity and tight deadlines

4.1. Location: Jurong Island (Company Transport provided)
4.2. Commence work: ASAP.
4.3. Applicants can work in Singapore without requiring a work pass.
