The role of a Project Executive is to generate project plans and budgets, and be expected to deliver upon these structured development will provide strategic guidance to teams and project manage in ways that promote the company’s culture. He/She will also oversee the progress of operations.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics.
The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization.
- Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure successful delivery of project outputs to schedule and within budgets.
- Develop detailed work breakdown structures and project plans to ensure delivery of agreed outcomes, working closely with clients and the executive team.
- Set budgets for programmes and agree costs with PM Lead and COO
- Identify mulate, organize and monitor inter-connected project
- Decide on suitable strategies and objectives
- Coordinate cross-project activities
- Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff
- Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities
- Apply change, risk and resource management
- Assume responsibility for the program’s people and vendors
- Resolve projects’ higher scope issues Prepare reports for program directors
Requirements
- Fresh PhD/Master’s in Science with commercial experience within the life science sector.
- Additional experience of project management through working in either: Biotech, biopharma, CMO, CRO, clinical trials or supply chain.
- Flexible approach to work assignments, ability to manage multiple and varied tasks and to prioritise the workload whilst maintaining attention to details
- Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills aligned with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at sites and with service providers.
- Personal drive to help push the sector to be a commercial success.
- Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
