The Director, Strategic Quality, is responsible to drive the development and deployment of critical applications enhancing Quality and Strategic enhancement in operations globally. This includes leading the Quality & Operations Digitialisation strategy, Quality solutions and Advanced technologies initiatives. The primary focus is to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction internationally, which is reflected and demonstrated by defined Quality KPI measures and Customer Scorecards. Additionally, the Director is responsible for fostering a Total Quality mindset culture across operations, design, and suppliers networks on a global scale, ensuring consistent quality standards, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across all AE factories.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Quality Moderization/Digitalization Strategy

  • Builds global operations control tower and integrated system, to manage the line performance, maintenance, downtime and quality performance in a real time dashboard.
  • Launch Predictive mode of Quality Control in all the BIG 5 factories
  • Launch Preventive Maintenance Strategy for critical equipment.
  • Enhance shop floor traceability system setup and data mining across all production facilities.

2. Quality Strategy Initiatives

  • Deploys the standard best practices in operation & quality in AE’s factories, manage and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Develops & deploy Smart and Pokayoke in manufacturing solutions in a global scale, such as, Smart Assembly. Smart Screwdriver, and other available latest i4.0 technologies.
  • Drives the massive deployment of Auto Visual Inspections to improve quality & efficiency across all production facilities
  • Leads and builds the Effective Problem-Solving program and culture, fostering a culture of collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Continously evolve a globally unified “Process Design Rule Book” with the latest best practices and “Dos & Don’ts”, ensuring alignment with industry standards.

3. Test problem solving initiatives

  • Drives the test significance and automation on a global scale, ensuring consistency and reliability in diverse market environments.
  • Establishes Test strategy framework alignment and Data readiness across AE’s factories.
  • Launch Predisys SPC across AE’s factories to optimize manufacturing quality.
  • Enhance the test development, compliance and validation through global frameworks.

4. Component Failure Analysis (CFA) Management

  • Manages and leads the Global CFA operations and work with process to support WW CFA demand worldwide.
  • Ensures and manages the turn around time and quality of analysis with global benchmarks and driving operational excellence.
  • Manages the technical team and expert pools to support global CFA operations
  • Develops and manages the Capabilities road map and Investment Plan strategically.
  • Drive the test significance with AE’s framework on continuous improvement across AE’s site


EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Quality and Quality Improvement
  • Strong experience in Quality function, including standards, auditing, measurement systems, problem analysis and problem solving
  • Strong experience in semiconductor, including managing crisis events with stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Experience building relationships with key stakeholders to gather quality improvements and specifications from departments.
  • Experience in driving use of Quality improvement projects within a global organization.
  • Conflict management experience
  • Experience in managing and leading change initiatives involving significant impacts to the organization.
  • Strong experience in building high performing teams and leading diverse groups and Demonstrate experience in leading without direct control.
