Sales Manager 销售经理 (B2B) - based in ChinaReporting to the Senior Sales Manager, the Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales management of teams supporting complex accounts to drive the generation of revenue and business growth. You will lead a large sales team to achieve and grow the B2B cloud and tele sales business program and goals in Greater China region.
As the Sales Manager, you are accountable for the overall site sales forecast while running all operations within the region. Together with the team, you will continuously expand and grow the cloud acquisition and/or growth business in the region; build and develop strategic client relationship through sales consultative approach, contribute to the professional development of a high-performing sales team, and manage the program yearly budget and revenues through sales forecasting.

Responsibilities
- Lead, develop and motivate a team of sales managers to exceed client targets, achieve business goals, maintain compliant operations while delivering optimal customer experience.
- Oversee the performance of key sales functions, provide guidance and assistance in the execution of functional responsibilities, help set objectives and achieve established goals.
- Responsible to set and track sales targets & KPIs, own and drive all project related activities to achieve quarterly and yearly sales revenue.
- Perform weekly call with reporting managers to understand and identify best practices to achieve set goals.
- Review, understand and take action regarding sales and productivity results on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly business review with client stakeholders to evaluate team’s performance, business insights and outlook for current and future quarters.
- Prepare sales analysis reports and suggest improvements plans for internal & external management.
- Develop and ensure best practice documentation procedures and internal communication processes across sales teams.
- Maintain CRM hygiene & use it as a single source of truth for forecasting, reporting & analysis purposes.
- Take full ownership and ensure operational excellence in order to improve overall business sales processes, identify process gaps or inefficiencies, recommend solutions and contribute to the implementation of those solutions.
- Initiate and drive business strategy discussions with C-level executives and business decision makers, identify the key aspects of a potential opportunity, nurture the opportunity to close, engage channel partners as needed and manage the customer relationship through success.
- Identify and communicate local market needs, drive issues to resolution, minimizing impact of potential issues that arise.
- Ability to understand the challenges within the assigned territory and create strategies to address them appropriately.
- Act as a single point of contact for the field to advise on important matters for all program related activities on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with other regional site leaders to evolve playbooks for incubating, launching, and scaling business processes.
- Regular interaction with client stakeholders, marketing, and internal sales and project team to maintain rhythm of business.
- Plan and execute incentive plans, including team activities within the allocated budget to maintain an open-communication culture for the team to share ideas, challenges & perceptions.
- Manage overall team sizing and growth in line with the business’ commitments, while building a world-class talent pool.
- Coach, train & evaluate team leaders to monitor their teams’ performance.
- Responsible for providing new & refresh trainings to retain inside sales talent.
Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in technology related sales operations, sales business analytics, performance management and finance/budget management.
- 5+ years of leadership and/or people management with consultative-based sales approach managing the technology cloud business portfolio in Hong Kong regions.
- Excellent command of English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese languages to manage the accounts across GCR.
- Passionate about cloud technology, strong financial business acumen with demonstrated experience in business planning and/or P&L related management.
- Excellent experience in initiating and driving business strategy discussion with C-level executives and business decision markers around industry drivers and workloads.
- Possess end-to-end sales process experience from demand generation, deal acceleration, to channel engagement.
- Strong track record of sales planning and program management skills with pass success of leading innovative and strategic business initiatives, including strong mastery of CRM such as Microsoft Office Suite, Dynamics CRM, sales dashboard etc.
- General knowledge of the IT industry, passionate for cloud technologies and changing the world.
- Experience with customer experience and sales, able to listen and respond to consumer needs, effectively communicate features and benefits of highly innovative products to customers.
- Agility to manage ambiguous and complex situations, while maintaining a good rapport with customers.
- Self-starter, success-driven personality with the ability to work in a diverse team and able to adapt to a dynamic environment.
