Senior Network Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead the day-to-day management of our client's network operations, ensuring seamless alignment with organizational growth and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Administration:
  • Manage network infrastructure across diverse environments (production, DR, test)
  • Perform hardening, upgrades, and enhancements to IT infrastructure
  • Implement security patches, track obsolescence, and monitor password/certificates
  • Ensure data recoverability and business continuity through network backup operations
  • Execute disaster recovery plans and conduct regular DR testing
• Project Management and Support:
  • Provide system/network support for projects, adhering to timelines
  • Manage infrastructure enhancements/projects following established guidelines
• Incident and Problem Management:
  • Provide second-level network support, resolving incidents/issues per SLA
  • Diagnose problems, propose solutions, and implement preventive measures
• Change and Release Management:
  • Schedule and release network changes, presenting requests during CAB/CAMC meetings
• Configuration Management:
  • Develop/maintain comprehensive configuration databases/libraries
• Capacity and Performance Management:
  • Monitor/plan infrastructure capacity, performing performance tuning
• Process Management:
  • Implement IT service management processes, aligning with corporate security policies
• Documentation:
  • Develop/maintain technical/process documentation for IT infrastructure upkeep

Requirements:

• Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT/IS/CS or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing network/security equipment in financial institutions or mission-critical environments
• Skills and Knowledge:
  • Demonstrated network engineering experience
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication/customer-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently/within a team, managing multiple tasks/projects
• Professional Certifications:
  • Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCSA, CCSE, PCNSA, PCNSE, NSE up to level 4)
