Business Analyst Intern

Location: On-site (9am to 6pm)

Internship Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst Intern with a keen interest in data and business analytics, and portfolio management . This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work with real-world data, create insightful dashboards, and support business decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in gathering and understanding business requirements from stakeholders.
• Connect to SQL databases and extract relevant data using basic to intermediate SQL queries.
• Help design and build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or web hosting platforms (AWS).
• Work with the analytics team to ensure data accuracy and report integrity.
• Participate in data cleaning, transformation, and visualisation tasks.
• Document work processes and provide regular updates to the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistic related field.
• Basic understanding of SQL (SELECT statements, joins) and Python.
• Familiarity with Power BI/AWS or able to leverage on AI to learn.
• Familiar with Data Structures and Algorithm is required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative.

Preferred Skill Set:

• Exposure to Python, Power Query, SQL, AWS or similar data tools.
• Any coursework or projects involving data visualisation or analytics.
• Experience or interest in frontend development.
