Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company’s long-term growth objectives and core values.

• Lead company-wide strategic planning and project execution, especially across compliance, technology, and customer service functions.

• Establish key operational performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly evaluate company-wide efficiency and results.

• Oversee esports event operations, content planning, and community growth to enhance user experience and brand visibility.

• Evaluate and launch new esports projects, partners, or platforms to drive innovation and content diversification.

• Utilize player behavior, operations data, and market trends to refine product and user engagement strategies.

• Build and lead a high-performing, professional, and diverse operations team that embodies a positive and inclusive culture.

• Implement workforce planning, talent development initiatives, and clear promotion pathways.

• Manage operational budgeting and cost control to ensure alignment with financial objectives.

• Identify opportunities to optimize costs while maintaining high standards of service and efficiency.

• Collaborate with finance teams to report on operational and financial performance to the CEO and board.

• Build strong relationships with clients, regulators, and strategic partners to enhance company credibility and growth.

• Act as a key liaison between executive leadership and operational teams to align on strategy and execution.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of operations leadership experience, with at least 5 years in senior roles within the esports or gaming industry.
• Deep understanding of the esports ecosystem, including event management, community operations, and user acquisition.
• Proven ability to lead in a fast-evolving, tech-driven environment with strong project execution and cross-functional coordination.
• Exceptional financial acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory and risk requirements within tech or gaming industries.
