Business Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to drive operational excellence and digital transformation across our food and beverage operations or any service sector operations. This role supports cross-functional teams — including HR, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Supply Chain — by analyzing systems, optimizing processes, and ensuring the effective use of technology tools like SAP/ERP, Power BI, and Agile project management systems. Ability to eliminate Non-Value-Added (NVA) processes using Six Sigma is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Business & Systems Analysis

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Liaise with stakeholders across departments (HR, Marketing, Operations) to align business needs with system capabilities.
• Facilitate and document business workflows, identify gaps, and propose technology-based solutions.

HR & Operational Support

• Support HR in digitizing employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, attendance, shift planning, and performance tracking.
• Identify NVA steps in administrative workflows and recommend improvements.
• Ensure system compliance with labor laws and food safety regulations.

Quality & Process Improvement

• Conduct root cause analyses and implement continuous improvement strategies across departments.
• Develop and monitor internal quality control procedures and performance metrics.
• Lead process improvement initiatives leveraging Lean Six Sigma principles.

Marketing and Customer Insights

• Support the marketing team with campaign performance analysis using Power BI dashboards.
• Align CRM and POS data with marketing objectives to enhance customer retention and loyalty programs.
• Deliver data-driven insights for new product introductions, pricing strategies, and promotional effectiveness.

Project Management & Testing

• Manage end-to-end system improvement projects using Agile methodology and tools like JIRA.
• Coordinate UAT/SIT cycles for ERP modules, POS systems, and digital platforms.
• Maintain thorough documentation of test cases, user stories, process maps, and change logs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information technology, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in business systems analysis, if it is in food and beverage or ecommerce is a plus
• Strong working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems (modules like inventory, HR, finance, and production).
• Lean Six sigma knowledge is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
• Skilled in Power BI for data analysis and dashboard creation.
• Solid understanding of strategic planning, operations analysis, and cross-functional business alignment.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
