Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations
  • Lead and motivate kitchen staff during service and prep
  • Ensure consistency and quality of all dishes leaving the kitchen
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene
  • Help with menu planning, food costing, and inventory management
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
  • Step into the role of Executive Chef when needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong line cook ready to step up
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Thorough knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for food, innovation, and continuous improvement
