Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of corporate and public events, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their objectives and translating them into compelling event experiences.
- Work with the design and production teams to develop unique concepts and experiences tailored to client briefs.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage third-party suppliers and partners (e.g., venues, decorators, caterers, AV teams).
- Supervise event setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring smooth operations and prompt troubleshooting.
- Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Lead debriefs, generate reports, and capture key learnings for future projects.
- Guide and mentor junior team members or freelance support staff during peak project periods.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in end-to-end event planning and execution, preferably in both corporate and public event settings.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to deadlines, budgets, and quality control.
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to interpret and deliver on client objectives.
- Strong creative sensibility with experience contributing to ideation and event conceptualization.
- Experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing external vendors and service providers.
- Hands-on experience in on-site event management, with the ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure.
- Strong organizational and logistical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot in real-time.
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
