Technical manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle all storekeeping tasks including loading/unloading goods (heavy lifting expected).
• Manually monitor stock levels without automated systems. Expect to work with outdated spreadsheets.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on chillers, air conditioning, lighting, and general plumbing, including restrooms.
• Be on standby 24/7 for emergency breakdowns (calls outside working hours are part of the job).
• Keep detailed reports of breakdowns, inventory inconsistencies, and equipment failures — even during peak hours.
• Act as the main point of contact for all technical issues, including pest control, roof leaks, and stuck roller shutters.
• Manage vendor servicing schedules with zero tolerance for delays or errors .
• Handle IT glitches , including POS crashes, barcode scanner errors, and CCTV resets
• Keep store area clean, organized, and compliant with internal SOPs.

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Engineering/Facility Maintenance.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience doing everything alone .
• Strong ability to work under pressure, independently, and without complaint.
• Willing to work in non-airconditioned environments and be on your feet most of the day.
• Able to commit long-term with no plans to job-hop .
• Must be comfortable working with minimum appreciation or recognition.
